First Step Family violence Shelter, Patchworks house and Family Counseling Services provide safe havens for families in crisis. Whether it be emergency shelter, a 24 hour crisis line, counseling services, or educational classes for victims and abusers, the agencies empower the individual to recover from the trauma and lead meaningful lives.

First Call for Help, a program of Tiffin- Seneca United Way is an information and referral agency that puts people in touch with agencies like American Red Cross, FISH and Salvation Army. Those agencies, in turn, offer basic needs to community members that are needing a helping hand.

Just for Kids, FACT (Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment), Community Hospice Care, McAuley Health Services, Betty Jane Rehabilitation Services, Arthritis Foundation of Northwest Ohio Services assist children, families, individuals, elderly and disabled people during times of health crisis. Providing affordable health services helps build a stronger and healthier community.
