God is at work in us through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit as we:

• Celebrate God's grace 
• Develop caring friendships 
• Build and strengthen families 
• See people's lives transformed 
• Channel God's mercy to our community and the world 
• Seek to be agents of God's peace and justice and 
• Allow God's love to rule all our activities.

The purpose of this church is to be the embodiment of the "Good News" of Jesus Christ, and to communicate this "Good News" to ourselves and to the world around us. ( We mean by the"Good News", the message of God's acceptance of all persons just as we are without any accounting of worthiness of value.) We will seek to enable our members to engage in a growing relationship with the God revealed by Jesus Christ. This will help us become increasingly aware of His work of reconciling all men to Himself so that we may engage in the ministry of reconciliation. We will also seek to enable our members to engage in a growing relationship with one another guided by this spirit of reconciliation, acceptance and love.

To be an enabling, equipping and challenging force in the lives of our members and the world about us, we as the church must provide the following:
 

• Opportunities for corporate worship
• The ministry of a supportive community of mutual concerns
• Opportunities for spiritual growth and nurture through education, encounters retreats, observations and etc.
• Opportunities to gain assistance in making personal ethical decisions
• Opportunities for outreach and evangelism
• Opportunities for ministry and service to our community and the world about us as an extension of the Body of Christ. This is understood to involve the traditional ministries of the church including the areas of social witness and service.
