Percy Lilly is a retired professor Botany and Microbiology from Heidelberg College. He was raised on a small farm in southern West Virginia. In Tiffin, he is involved with Kiwanis, the Tiffin Shade Tree Commission, the Transportation Committee of the Heritage Festival and the Earth Literacy Center of the Sisters of St. Francis. He has taught in China, Colombia and several Central American countries. He likes to fish, camp and garden.
Mary Lilly is a perpetual student, graduating from West Virginia University with a Masters degree in Biology. She has since studied Spanish at Heidelberg College and received a Masters degree from the University of Findlay in teaching English to speakers of other languages. She helped raise four children, Catherine, Robert, Mark and Laurel. She is a ready correspondent and adventurer with her ten grandchildren. She enjoys reading, gardening, and walking in beautiful places. She currently teaches part time at Terra Community College.
